CG 14-10010 Reducing Tobacco-Related Inequities Interventions

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH), California Tobacco Control Program (CTCP) intends to fund 10 to 12 projects to implement and evaluate innovative community-focused health education and health promotion interventions that will result in policy, system, and environmental changes.  The interventions will focus on preventing and reducing tobacco use among groups with high rates of tobacco use including:  African American (AA); American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN); Asian/Pacific Islander (A/PI); Hispanic/Latino (HL); Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT); low socioeconomic status (SES); and people with mental health illnesses and substance abuse disorders (behavioral health).

Alert 1.8.14: The California Department of Public Health, California Tobacco Control Program is working on an addendum to remove the requirement that applicants submit the Agency Documentation Requirements form listed on page 18, H. Additional Documents (item 5) in the Reduce Health Inequities Request for Application # 14-10010. It is expected that this addendum will be posted on January 8, 2014.  This form is not available and has no material impact on the submission of applications.
