CG 22-10399 Statewide Priority Population Coordinating Centers

The purpose of this Request for Application (RFA) is to fund five (5) Statewide Coordinating Center grants for the following priority populations: 1) African American/Black; 2) Asian American/Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander; 3) Latino; 4) Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, or Questioning (LGBTQ+); and 5) Rural communities. The purpose of the Coordinating Centers is to foster interactive and integrative collaboration and communication for CTCP funded projects serving priority populations and their networks. The Coordinating Centers are expected to accelerate the adoption, implementation and impact of policy and system change campaigns through community education, capacity building, and community organizing activities.

The California Department of Public Health intends to award grants to the following agencies in response to Request for Application #22-10399, Statewide Priority Population Coordinating Centers:

Award A

  1. African American/Black: The URSA Institute
  2. Asian American/Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander: Asian Pacific Partners for Empowerment, Advocacy and Leadership
  3. Latino: California Health Collaborative
  4. LGBTQ+: Health Access Foundation

Award B

  1. Rural: California Health Collaborative
