CG 17-10593, Statewide Coordinating Centers for Priority Populations

The California Department of Public Health intends to award grants to the following applicants for Request for Applications 17-10593, Statewide Coordinating Centers for Priority Populations:

  1. Asian Pacific Partners for Empowerment, Advocacy and Leadership - Asian/Pacific Islander
  2. California Health Collaborative - Hispanic/Latino
  3. Health Access Foundation – Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender/Queer
  4. The URSA Institute – African American/Black

The purpose of this Request for Application (RFA) is to fund up to four Statewide Coordinating Center grants, one for each of the following priority population groups: 1) African American/Black, 2) Asian/Pacific Islander, 3) Hispanic/Latino, and 4) Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ) populations. The purpose of the Coordinating Centers is to foster interactive and integrative collaboration and communication among awardees of priority population regional projects funded by RFA #17-10569 Regional Initiative to Mobilize Communities and Reduce Tobacco–Related Disparities among African American/Black; Asian/Pacific Islander; Hispanic/Latino; and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer Populations as well as their networks and CTCP. Coordinating Centers are expected to accelerate the adoption, implementation and impact of policy and system change campaigns conducted by projects funded under RFA #17-10569. 

(NEW!)- Consensus Review Scoring Tools

Due to a system-wide network outage, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), California Tobacco Control Program (CTCP) is unable to post the consensus review scoring tools or mail out decision letters at this time.

The deadline to file a dispute will be extended to Friday, December 29, 2017 by 5:00pm, PST.
