CG 20-10013 Reducing Tobacco-Related Disparities in American Indian and Alaskan Native Communities

The purpose of the Reducing Tobacco-Related Disparities in American Indian and Alaskan Native Communities Request for Application (RFA) is to prevent and reduce the use of commercial tobacco products among California’s American Indian/Alaskan Native communities. The term “tobacco” used in this RFA refers to commercial tobacco products. This RFA does not seek to impinge upon the sacred use of traditional or ceremonial tobacco in American Indian communities.

The California Department of Public Health intends to award grants to the following agencies in response to Request for Applications CG 20-10013 Reducing Tobacco-Related Disparities in American Indian and Alaskan Native Communities:

  1. California Indian Museum and Cultural Center (CIMCC)
  2. Education Training and Research Associates (ETR)
  3. Lake County Tribal Health Consortium, Inc. (LCTHC)
  4. Native Star Foundation
  5. United Indian Health Services
